Okaloosa County School District to Host Two Bus Driver Job Fairs

The Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) will host two Bus Driver Job Fairs in October, giving community members a chance to learn more about careers with the District’s Transportation Department. 

The job fairs will be held at the following locations:

Transportation South Bus Barn
1978 Lewis Turner Blvd., Fort Walton Beach
Monday, October 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Transportation North Bus Barn
555 Anderson Street, Crestview
Thursday, October 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The events will allow prospective applicants to learn more about becoming an OCSD school bus driver, a position that plays an important role in safely transporting students to and from school each day. Attendees can test-drive a school bus, meet with Human Resources staff for on-site application assistance, and learn more about paid training to earn a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
