Local Gulf Coast nonprofits planning fundraising and awareness events are invited to apply for a sponsorship from Cox Communications. Cox is currently accepting requests for events and initiatives occurring between July 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025. If your nonprofit is planning an event or initiative that will take place during this period and looking for support, you can apply for cash and/or in-kind sponsorships at Cox’s Charitable Giving Site. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 23, 2025.
Super Bowl Champion Helps Cut the Ribbon on Cox Innovation Lab in FWB
Super Bowl champion and Connect2Compete advocate Malcolm Mitchell cut the ribbon on a technology-filled Innovation Lab at The Boys & Girls Clubs Teen Center in Fort Walton Beach. The lab was made possible thanks to a $25,000 grant from the James M. Cox Foundation.
