Walton County Introduces Debris Removal Dashboard to Keep Residents Informed of Hurricane Recovery Progress

Walton County is pleased to announce the availability of a new Debris Removal Dashboard, provided by Tetra Tech, to help residents stay informed about ongoing storm debris collection efforts throughout the county.

As Walton County continues its recovery efforts following the recent hurricane, providing residents with accurate and accessible information remains a top priority. The Debris Removal Dashboard is designed to offer the public a convenient way to monitor debris collection progress and better understand the status of recovery operations in their communities.

The dashboard will serve as a valuable resource for residents seeking updates on the countywide debris removal process. Depending on the information displayed, residents may be able to view collection progress, areas where debris removal operations have occurred, and other relevant recovery information.

“We understand that residents are eager to see debris removed from their neighborhoods as quickly and safely as possible. This dashboard provides another level of transparency and allows our residents and visitors to follow the progress being made throughout Walton County,” said Walton County Emergency Management Director Jeff Goldberg.

Important Information for Residents
Walton County reminds residents that debris collection is a coordinated process involving specialized equipment, collection crews, and established operational routes. Residents should keep the following information in mind: The dashboard is intended to provide general progress information and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a specific collection date or time.
