On Monday, April 13, The Florida Tasting Room and The Candy Bar celebrated their grand opening in HarborWalk Village!
This new destination bridges the gap between a sophisticated wine bar and a whimsical candy shop, creating an “everyone-is-welcome” experience on the Emerald Coast. The concept thoughtfully blends elevated offerings for adults with playful, family-friendly elements, resulting in a venue that appeals to guests of all ages.
On the “adult” side, the menu highlights a curated selection of Florida wines, featuring well-known local producers such as Keel Farms, recognized for its blueberry and fruit wines, and Lakeridge Winery. Guests may also enjoy a variety of craft beers, showcasing some of Florida’s most popular beach-friendly brews, ranging from light citrus ales to tropical IPAs. Adding a unique twist, the wine smoothies provide a refreshing, Florida-inspired treat, blending icy textures with vibrant fruit flavors.
Equally engaging is the “kid” (and kid-at-heart) side of the experience. A gourmet candy wall serves as a focal point, with bulk candy barrels and jars filled with both nostalgic favorites and contemporary treats, all presented within a bright, modern boutique setting. Signature kids’ smoothies further enhance the experience, featuring fun, nautical-themed creations such as the Shark Bite, Mermaid Tail, and Beachside Blue Raspberry. These colorful drinks are often topped with themed candy skewers, adding an extra layer of delight.
