Superintendent Marcus Chambers Welcomes Students and Families to the 2025–2026 School Year

Okaloosa County School DistrictAs schools across Okaloosa County open their doors for the 2025–2026 school year, Superintendent Marcus Chambers has shared a heartfelt message of welcome and encouragement with students and families. In his letter, Chambers expressed his excitement for the year ahead and his commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and high-achieving learning environment for every student.

“With over two decades in education, I know how vital it is to create schools where students feel inspired and supported,” Chambers wrote. “As a fellow parent, I share your aspirations for your child’s success, and I am committed to working alongside you to make this school year one of growth and achievement.”

Chambers emphasized the district’s dedication to academic excellence, respectful behavior, and personal responsibility while highlighting new opportunities for students in STEM, the arts, and career and technical education.

“These programs are designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and prepare students for a bright future. There’s something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see what our students accomplish,” he said.

The Superintendent also reaffirmed the district’s commitment to open communication with parents and students. He encouraged families to stay informed by following district updates online and on social media, and to reach out directly with questions or feedback.
