Summer Bridge Program Helps VPK Students Gear Up for Kindergarten Success

The Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coast, in partnership with the Okaloosa County School District, is proud to announce the Summer Bridge Program, a vital initiative designed to support Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) students as they prepare for a successful transition into kindergarten. Running Monday through Friday, June 4 – July 7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., this program focuses on strengthening early literacy and math skills for children who may benefit from additional preparation before kindergarten.

The program will be hosted at the following locations:

• North End: Southside Primary School
• South End: Mary Esther Elementary School and Edwins Elementary School
