On Feb. 29, Stepping Stones at Roane celebrated a ribbon cutting with the Destin Chamber.
Stepping Stones at Roane is a Preschool for children ages 1-5 that provides an adventurous setting for those in their early learning years to flourish. Its goal is to teach children to love God, provide a positive foundation for a life-long love of learning, and promote independence with a focus on social and emotional aspects of a child’s development. The preschool offers a structured curriculum along with exposure to classical arts, science, and cooking that allows students to learn through play, exploration, and discovery.
During the event, the playground was dedicated as Patricia's Playground in loving memory of co-owner Tammie Bowyer's mother Patricia Posey-Goodwin, a dedicated Grammie, mom, daughter, sister and nurse.
