Okaloosa County Students Raise Thousands to Support Children in Need Through Change for Children Campaign

The Okaloosa County School District is proud to recognize the outstanding efforts of students and schools who participated in the 2025–2026 Change for Children Campaign benefiting Children in Crisis and the children served at The Children's Neighborhood. For more than two decades, students across Okaloosa County have collected spare change and organized fundraising efforts to support foster children and provide resources that help create safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children in need. "The Change for Children Campaign is a wonderful reflection of the character and generosity of our students," said Superintendent Marcus Chambers. "Year after year, our students demonstrate that even small acts of kindness can have a tremendous impact. We are proud of their commitment to helping children in need and grateful for the partnership with Children in Crisis that allows our students to support such an important cause."

During a recent Okaloosa County School Board meeting, district leaders, and representatives from Children in Crisis recognized the top fundraising schools for their outstanding contributions to this year's campaign.
