Okaloosa County Schools will recognize and observe HOPE WEEK Monday, February 12, through Friday, February 16. We encourage community members to wear yellow on Thursday, February 15, the National Day of Hope. HOPE WEEK and Day of HOPE bring us together to raise awareness of suicide prevention and mental wellness to destigmatize mental health issues and empower our students, faculty, and community members to ask for help when they are in an emotional crisis. During HOPE WEEK, students and staff will participate in activities promoting hope, including random acts of kindness and wearing yellow for suicide prevention.
