HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital earns 2026 CMS 5-Star Quality Rating

HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital announced today that it has received
a 2026 5-Star Quality Rating from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the highest possible rating from CMS.

The CMS Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating evaluates hospitals nationwide based on a range of quality measures, including mortality, safety of care, readmissions, patient experience and timely, effective care. Hospitals that receive a 5-star rating are recognized for delivering consistently high-quality care and strong patient outcomes across multiple areas of performance. This recognition builds on the hospital’s demonstrated excellence in key service lines. HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital has been recognized by Healthgrades® for 5-star performance in hip fracture treatment and sustained excellence in the treatment of sepsis, reflecting strong outcomes in both orthopedic and critical care services.

“HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital is honored to receive this 5-star rating from CMS on top a hospital safety grade of [A] from the Leapfrog Group,” said Todd Jackson, CEO of HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our colleagues and physicians to providing safe, compassionate, high-quality care. We are proud to serve our communities and remain committed to improving more lives in more ways.”

The CMS star ratings are designed to provide patients and families with a simple,
transparent way to evaluate hospital quality.
