The 2026 Bay Gala: Midnight Masquerade, hosted by Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation on Saturday, February 7, raised $101,531 in support of Sacred Heart Bay’s Level II Trauma Department.
Held at the Boardwalk Beach Hotel and Convention Center, the elegant evening welcomed guests into the grand ballroom for a cocktail hour followed by a multi-course, seated dinner and champagne toast to begin the night’s festivities. Master of Ceremonies Shane Collins guided guests through the evening’s program and festivities. The program included remarks from Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation President Adrienne Maygarden, who welcomed guests, followed by Robin Godwin, President of Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital.
A special video presentation highlighted the story of the Ridley family, whose lives were saved by the expert team at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay’s Level II Trauma Department following a near-fatal automobile accident in 2025.
“What a privilege it is to serve such a caring community so willing to come alongside our hospital in our efforts to improve healthcare for all in Bay County and the region,” said Robin Godwin, president of Ascension Sacred Heart Bay. “We are especially grateful to be able share the story of the Ridley family and countless other trauma patients that your support impacts.”
Live music from Az Izz set the tone before award-winning auctioneer Charlie Adcock took the stage to lead the live auction. Guests eagerly raised their paddles to bid on exclusive packages, including a night at Sphere in Las Vegas, a ski adventure in Lake Tahoe, and a European getaway of their choice.
Throughout the evening, attendees also entered for a chance to win a $5,000 shopping spree donated by Maharaja’s Fine Jewelry, along with 50/50 opportunity tickets. Through generous sponsorships, live and silent auction bids, and opportunity ticket sales, the gala raised $101,531 to advance trauma care in our community.
“We are deeply grateful to the individuals and organizations whose generosity and belief in our mission made this evening possible,” said Adrienne Maygarden, President of Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation. “All funds raised will directly strengthen trauma services at Sacred Heart Bay, ensuring continued access to high-quality, compassionate care for the families of Bay County ensuring lifesaving services remain close to home for our community when they are needed most.”
