During the Destin Chamber’s Oct. 13 Business Before Hours Sponsored by Hand Arendall Harrison Sale, Jearl McCall, Senior Executive Director of Golf at Emerald Bay Golf Club, was honored with the Chamber’s Business Person of the Month Award. This award is presented directly from the Chamber’s Board of Directors to a Destin area businessperson showing vision for his or her business and leadership in our community. “Anyone who knows Jearl knows the kind of man he is. He’s a great leader of his team at Emerald Bay. He gives so much back to the community through Emerald Bay, or just on his own. It’s always great for me to see great people rewarded for their great works. He truly deserves the award,” said Shane A. Moody, CCE, FCCP.
McCall currently serves on the Destin Chamber Board of Directors and has been instrumental in the success of the Chamber’s annual golf tournament, as well as its Destin Forward community education and leadership program. Through his volunteer role as Vice President of All Sports Association, he helps raise funds for local youth-oriented non-profit organizations with an emphasis on sports programs.
