Impact100 of Northwest Florida Inc. today awarded five $100,000 grants to nonprofits in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. The announcement came at the organization’s annual meeting held at the Hilton Sandestin.

• The Salvation Army – Mobile Kitchen for Disaster & Community Assistance
Health & Wellness
• Healing Paws for Warriors – Save a Veteran, Rescue a Dog: Mobile Support
Since the creation of Impact100 NWF in 2012, we have granted $4.1 million to 501(c)(3) nonprofits in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Every membership dollar goes directly towards the grant award fund. The concept is simple – each member contributes $1,000 to fund the grants. This year, the organization has 532 members, making possible five $100,000 grants. Members evaluate and vote on grant applications submitted by nonprofits in our area.
