Frances Roy Agency Opens Applications for the 2025-2026 Roy Warner Memorial Scholarship Supporting Trade School Students

Frances Roy Agency has opened applications for its 2025–2026 Roy Warner Memorial Scholarship, an annual award established to honor the life and legacy of Roy Warner, Founder, Shantelle Dedicke’s late grandfather. A craftsman known for his integrity, resilience, and unshakeable work ethic, Warner’s legacy continues to inspire the agency and guide its support of students pursuing skilled, trade-based careers.

About Roy Warner
Roy Warner built his life through construction, carpentry, and a deep belief in the dignity of hard work. He was respected not only for the craftsmanship of his hands but for the steadiness of his character and the stories he carried. His values: discipline, generosity, and pride in one’s craft, remain foundational to the scholarship created in his name.

Scholarship Details
The Roy Warner Memorial Scholarship supports students pursuing education in the skilled trades, including but not limited to construction, mechanical, industrial, medical, creative, entrepreneurial, and other vocational fields. Ideal applicants will demonstrate a commitment to their chosen trade, a strong work ethic, and the drive to build a meaningful career that reflects Roy Warner's spirit.

“Our team pours so much heart into this scholarship because Roy Warner wasn’t just my grandfather; his life shaped the values that built this agency,” said Shantelle Dedicke, founder and president of Frances Roy Agency. “Seeing last year’s recipient, Rylee Lorenz, take her first steps into a nursing career reminded us why we do this. We believe in the power of skilled work, and we are honored to invest in young people who carry that legacy forward.”
