Following another successful summer of camps, Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) is excited to welcome students back for its 2026 Fall Education Programs. As the summer concludes with performances of Something Rotten Jr. on July 30 and 31, registration is now open for a wide variety of classes designed for students of all ages and experience levels.
This fall’s lineup offers something for every young performer age 5-18 yrs. old, including Trolls Jr., Legally Blonde Jr., Broadway dance styles, beginning and advanced tap, first steps ballet, ballet and jazz, vocal technique, acting and improv, playwriting, middle and high school competition travel troupes, and much more!
Education Director Adam Day Howard and Education and Outreach Coordinator Mallory McGill are the dynamic new team leading ECTC’s educational programming. Howard brings extensive experience as a university theatre educator, director, and music director whose work spans regional theatre, Off-Broadway, and international productions. McGill, a Destin native, is an award-winning theatre educator and professional actress with more than 15 years of teaching and coaching experience with hundreds of actors whose work have appeared on Disney, Nickelodeon, and more, plus credits in hit shows such as 90210 and The Suite Life: On Deck. Together, they are committed to providing exceptional theatre education for the Emerald Coast.
From first-time performers to experienced young artists, ages 5-18, ECTC’s Fall Education Programs provide a supportive environment where students can develop lifelong skills. Through hands-on instruction, rehearsals, and training, students gain far more than on-stage experience. They develop confidence, communication, teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills that extend well beyond the theatre. What sets ECTC apart is its commitment to treating every educational production with the same level of professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail as its main stage productions. Students rehearse and perform using professional-quality lighting, sound, costumes, and sets, while learning from experienced theatre professionals, including a new education staff, who are dedicated to helping every student succeed.
“Our goal is to create an environment where our students feel supported and inspired while developing their artistic abilities and skills that will serve them for years to come,” said Anna Fisher, ECTC’s Associate Artistic Director. “We approach every educational production with the same standard as our professional productions, from choreography to costumes, because every student deserves that experience. Whether they dream of performing professionally or just want to explore a new creative outlet and make friends, ECTC offers a place where every student is encouraged to grow, create, and shine.”
