On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Destin Rotary Satellite Club presented a check for $11,200 to Healing Paws for Warriors. The money was raised during the club's Sept. 20 Sandy Bags Cornhole Tournament. This 3rd annual event featured a doubles cornhole tournament, raffles, silent auction, and family friendly fun at LuLu's Destin.
Healing Paws for Warriors provides rescue-to-trained ADA-certified service dogs to combat veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Military Sexual Trauma (MST).
