Gulf Coast Council, Scouting America and All In Credit Union announced a new corporate partnership, with All In committing $15,000 to support Scouting programs that serve thousands of young people across the Florida Panhandle and South Alabama.
The investment will directly fund character development, leadership training, and education programs offered through the Gulf Coast Council, which has served youth across 11 counties for nearly a century. The Council's reach stretches from Pensacola to Panama City, Florida, and into Conecuh and Monroe Counties in Alabama, operating through four districts: Pensacola Bay, Choctawhatchee, Lake Sands, and Longleaf Pine.
The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Through programs including Cub Scouts for grades K–5, Scouts BSA for ages 11–17, Venturing, and Sea Scouts for ages 14–20, the Gulf Coast Council provides youth with opportunities to develop skills in citizenship, teamwork, and community service.
"At Gulf Coast Council, Scouting America, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to develop the character, leadership, and Scouting values that will guide them throughout their lives," said Chris Sams, Chief Operating Officer & Acting Scout Executive, Gulf Coast Council, Scouting America. "Thanks to All In Credit Union's generous $15,000 corporate sponsorship, we can continue fulfilling our mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. We are honored to partner with an organization that shares the commitment to investing in youth, strengthening communities, and building a brighter future for the Gulf Coast region."
