RSVP Volunteer Manager

The RSVP Manager is responsible for strengthening United Way Emerald Coast (UWEC)’s Community Impact work through volunteerism with persons aged 55 and older. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of all Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) activities including recruiting and managing volunteers, supporting capacity building to Okaloosa and Walton County nonprofits through placement of volunteers, and promoting the value of volunteer service through special projects and events. The RSVP Manager provides leadership and administration of the federally funded grant, with the assistance of UWEC’s Director of Impact. The RSVP Manager will work with volunteers, community partners, businesses, and faithbased organizations to engage volunteers in meaningful, quality roles that will make a measurable difference in the quality of life for seniors in our community.
