Sales & Events Coordinator

We are currently seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our sales team in the role of the Sales & Events Coordinator. In this position, coordinator aids the Director of Sales in soliciting bookings for the hotel by contacting and building relationships with new or existing clients of government, businesses, associations and social groups. Hourly compensation plus monthly bonus.

Key job responsibilities of a Sales & Events Coordinator include:
• Demonstrating Innisfree Hotels’ culture by creating a fun, happy, and safe work environment.
• Assisting Director of Sales with daily activities and task, including conducting and coordinating hotel visits with current or prospective guests and ensuring 100% satisfaction.
• Maintaining files, electronic communication, billing, etc.
• Providing office and phone coverage.
• Analyzing requirements of functions, highlighting available hotel facilities, and services and providing pricing quotes.
• Replies to and logs guest rooms and catering leads, creating proposals, and preparing contracts.
• Assisting clients with reservations and other needs.
• Reviewing and assisting with planning of meetings, weddings, and other banquet functions.
• Prepares group resumes, BEO, event diagrams.
• Plan function details including space requirements, publicity, food and beverage and decorations.
• Heading up weakly BEO meeting and distribute all group requirements to operating departments and contracting outside vendors.
• Sets up tastings and menu for contracted events.
• Prepares and process clients pre-payments, deposits and final payment due.
• Servicing as a coordinator during functions.
• Inputting data daily into Sales Force and Opera PMS.

Job Requirements: The ideal Sales & Events Coordinator will have at least one year of experience as a coordinator. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
• Professional and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-profile, high-traffic environment.
• Ability to problem-solving, organizational skills, interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak, read, and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos.
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience in Sales Force and Opera PMS is a plus, but not required
