Tampa Taiko Drums to Perform at Destin Library

The Destin Library’s summer reading program will get in rhythm on Friday, June 8^th, (3:00 PM) with a performance of Tampa Taiko Drums. Tampa Taiko is a traditional Japanese drumming presentation that has performed for a vast array of audiences, playing at festivals, concert halls, libraries and schools.

Tampa Taiko is drummer Ron Collins. Collins has performed all over Florida as Tampa Taiko, educating others on the performance art of traditional Japanese drumming, using martial arts-like movements and shouts to boost energy.
     
Seating for this event will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
