Scholarship Presentation Honoring Local Students in Big Brothers Big Sisters Program

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida is proud to announce 16 local students in our mentoring programs will be awarded scholarships to support their journey toward higher education. We invite members of the media to join us in celebrating this special occasion, recognizing the hard work and potential of these remarkable young people. The scholarships are made possible through a generous partnership between Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) and the Florida Prepaid College Foundation. This opportunity paves the way for our students to pursue higher education at Florida’s public colleges, universities, and technical or vocational schools.

The scholarship presentation ceremony will take place at Florida Power & Light, 1 Energy Place, Pensacola, Florida 32520, on May 22nd at 5:15 p.m. Each student will be formally recognized and presented with a certificate in a heartfelt ceremony that highlights the impact of mentorship, education, and community support.
