Parent-Teacher Workshop: Reading or Spelling – Which Comes First?

Come to the Destin Library on Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 6 p.m., for a free Parent-Teacher Workshop focusing on reading and spelling led by Children’s Librarian Laura Harris. Some children are strong spellers but struggle with reading, or the opposite, great reading ability but struggle with spelling. Parents, teachers, and caregivers are invited to our informal workshop to help you understand your child’s learning curve during early reading and spelling and get tips on how the two intersect in the learning process.
