Destin Chamber's Military Affairs Council (MAC) Meeting

Our Military Affairs Council (MAC) will meet at noon, in the Chamber's conference room. Any Chamber member with an interest in the military is welcome to attend. Our speaker will be MSgt. Floyd K. Ford, Special Missions Section Chief at the 96th Security Forces Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base. In this position, he manages the installation’s only Maritime Operations Section, Confinement, Small Unmanned Aerial System and Counter-Small Unmanned Aerial Systems programs. He is responsible for providing integrated defense and law enforcement for 726 square miles of land and 153 miles of coastline. Additionally, he directs security and law enforcement that covers 183 area and 70 test sites, ultimately protecting 17 billion dollars in assets across 9 Wings and 34 tenant units from 6 different Major Commands in support of the Air Force’s largest installation.
