The City of Destin will hold its Annual Arbor Day celebration at Kell-Aire Gardens, located at 810 Kell-Aire Court, on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 10 am. The event will include remarks from Mayor Gary Jarvis. Members of the Destin City Council, the Destin Parks and Recreation Committee, and students from Destin Elementary School will be participating in the tree dedication. Additionally, the City of Destin has been named a Tree City USA community by The National Arbor Day Foundation to honor its commitment to urban forestry. This is the 20th year Destin has received this national recognition.
