Gerard Perillo is a Certified Business Intermediary with over 25 years' experience helping entrepreneurs buy and sell businesses. He literally wrote the book on it - Sharkpreneur, Bite Sized Strategies for Selling Your Business with the Shark Team, an Amazon.com best seller.

Gerard has sold hundreds of businesses that total $510 mm in closed transactions, with $285 mm sold in the last two years. Gerard is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) credentialed through the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and is a Business Certified Appraiser (BCA), which uniquely qualifies him to work as an SBA appraiser.

He is distinguish from other business brokers in that he does not understate or overstate the valuation of a business, he gives a true valuation. In 2020, Gerard developed the first business valuation software that integrates with Intuit QuickBooks called Today’s VAL. This development has earned him high esteem as an industry expert in the valuation of a business.

In 2021, Gerard brought his Shark Team to eXp Commercial Business Brokerage division where he sits as Co-Vice Chair of the eXp Business Brokerage Committee, developing the guidelines and procedures to sell businesses in all 50 states.
