SINFONIA GULF COAST CELEBRATES MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND WITH SINFONIA SALUTES AT ALYS BEACH

Sinfonia Gulf Coast invites the community to kick off Memorial Day weekend with Sinfonia Salutes, the orchestra’s annual free pops concert and drone show, on Sunday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre.

Now a beloved holiday tradition on the Emerald Coast, Sinfonia Salutes brings the full orchestral sound of Sinfonia Gulf Coast under the palm trees for an evening of patriotic and popular tunes that appeals to all ages. The concert will be capped by a mesmerizing drone show lighting up the night sky over Alys Beach.
This year also marks Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s 20th anniversary and maestro Demettrius Fuller will be conducting. 

The festive outdoor performance is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring low-back chairs or blankets and arrive early to find the perfect spot on the green. The amphitheatre is located on Scenic Highway 30A directly across from the Gulf of Mexico, making it an idyllic backdrop for a family-friendly holiday celebration. Doors open at 6 p.m., and music begins at 7:30 p.m.

Sinfonia Salutes continues Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s mission to entertain, educate and inspire the community through innovative programming and high-caliber performances. This event is one of the symphony’s signature traditions that blends professional musicianship with a laid-back beach town vibe.
