Doolittle Institute's Innovation Discovery Event

The Doolittle Institute, in partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory Air Warfare Directorate (AFRL/RA) and Techlink, will host a Summer 2026 Innovation Discovery Event (IDE) on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Doolittle Institute in Niceville, Florida.

Innovation Discovery Events connect federal researchers with subject matter experts from industry, academia, government, small businesses, and the entrepreneurial community to explore real-world applications for emerging technologies. Through facilitated discussions, participants help identify potential use cases, technology transition opportunities, commercialization pathways, and barriers to adoption.

The Doolittle Institute is currently seeking panelists from diverse professional backgrounds to participate in this collaborative event. Panelists will be invited to share their perspectives on potential applications, end users, operational needs, market opportunities, and pathways to transition.

We welcome participation from professionals in engineering, science, manufacturing, aerospace, product and business development, government contracting, entrepreneurship, and related fields. Diverse and nontraditional perspectives are strongly encouraged.

This workshop will be held primarily in person at the Doolittle Institute in Niceville, Florida.
