SUMMARY:NWFSC to Celebrate Spring 2026 Commencement with America 250 Keynote Speaker Jonna Doolittle Hoppes
DESCRIPTION:Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) will celebrate its Spring 2026 Commencement ceremonies on Friday\, May 8\, at Raider Arena on the Niceville campus\, recognizing graduates who have completed associate and bachelor's degree programs across a wide range of disciplines.\n\n \n\nAs part of the College's America 250 commemoration\, this year's commencement speaker will be Jonna Doolittle Hoppes\, author\, educator\, and granddaughter of renowned World War II aviation leader General James "Jimmy" Doolittle.\n\nHoppes is known for preserving and sharing the legacy of the Doolittle Raiders\, whose historic 1942 mission marked a turning point in World War II. Her work continues to connect new generations with the values of service\, leadership\, and resilience that define the American spirit.\n\n \n\n"This commencement represents an important milestone for our graduates and their families\," said NWFSC President Mel Ponder.
