Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon partners Erick Drlicka and Jennifer Shoaf Richardson will lead a discussion about the Fair Labor Standards Act - What You Need to Know. They will review the recent changes announced by the US Department of Labor\, affecting the exemption from minimum wage and overtime pay requirements for executive\, administrative\, and professional employees. The changes go into effect on July 1\, 2024.\n\n\n\nErick and Jennifer practice mainly management side employment law. They are both proud Gators\, with Erick graduating from the University of Florida for law school and Jenny for Undergraduate.  Jenny and Erick defend employers facing charges or lawsuits involving discrimination\, retaliation\, wage and hour\, FMLA\, and any other state or federal employment claims.
