Register now to lock in $45 for the 18 and 44-mile routes and $50 for the 64 and 100-mile routes. All registration prices will increase by $5 after October 2nd at 11:59 p.m. The ride takes place on Saturday\, October 24th\, starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Clyde L. Gracey Community Center in Milton. This beloved cycling event winds through the scenic roads of the Blackwater Forest and returns to Milton\, giving riders a chance to enjoy Northwest Florida's native wildlife\, quiet landscapes\, and stunning scenery. \n\n \n\n With route options of 18\, 44\, 64\, or 100 miles\, there's a ride for every cycling level. \n\n \n\n All riders will enjoy event giveaways\, fully supported rest stops\, limited SAG support\, a post-ride meal\, exciting prize opportunities\, and a commemorative t-shirt. \n \n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n REGISTER NOW \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Fenner Ride is held annually in memory of Dr. Fenner McConnell and Matt Wantz\, both passionate cyclists and former members of the West Florida Wheelmen. \n\n Dr. McConnell\, a medical examiner for a four-county district in the Panhandle\, was tragically killed in 1998 by a hit-and-run driver while cycling across the Bob Sikes Bridge. Matt Wantz was fatally injured while working in a local bike shop. \n\n In honor of Dr. McConnell\, who was known for his signature bowties\, participants are encouraged to wear a bowtie during the ride as a meaningful tribute. \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida has been the area's leader in one-to-one mentoring for 36 years by serving children ages 5 and beyond. Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our ultimate goal is for our Littles to be self-sufficient and earning a living wage by the age of 26.
